Radiant floor heating systems are discreetly installed under a variety of floor types.

If you’re looking to add comfort, efficiency, and value to your home, radiant heat is an excellent option. A radiant heated floor is unique in that it warms objects rather than air. If you’ve walked barefoot on the concrete during a summer day, then you’ve experienced radiant heat. Warmzone heated floors take the chill out of Spokane winters, providing residents with luxurious, energy-efficient warmth. The floor heating systems provide even, consistent heat throughout the room, warming everything from the floor up.

As one of the industry’s most prolific, leading providers of radiant heat solutions, Warmzone offers one of the largest selections of floor heating systems. Each system offers its own unique characteristics, ensuring that customers find the ideal system for heating their particular floor type.

A few of the popular floor heating systems that Warmzone offers are listed below:

ComfortTile floor heating cable, mats and thermostat for radiant heated floors.

ComfortTile®: This industry-leading radiant heat system is Warmzone's most popular floor heating system. ComfortTile features thin heat cable that requires only minimal floor buildup. (The cable is only about ⅛-inch in diameter. The heat cable can be installed in mats or in individual strands, using cable strapping to space and secure the cable to the floor. The mats feature cable that is pre-spaced on a flexible mesh with an adhesive backing so that it can be rolled out and secured to the subfloor. It is ideal for heating tile floors, but is also commonly used for heating other applications, including laminate, and even carpeted flooring. ComfortTile floor heating cable comes with a 25-year warranty.

In-Slab floor heating cable for heating concrete slabs.

In-Slab™: This rugged cable is larger in diameter because it is designed to be installed within the concrete slab. It is durable and extremely effective for heating floors on concrete slabs. The cable is laid out over the area to be heated and then secured to the remesh with zip ties prior to the concrete pour. Plastic supports are placed under the remesh to ensure that the heat cable remains off the ground and within two inches of the concrete’s surface. The In-Slab floor heating system is a very effective and affordable solution for heating concrete slabs.

Prodeso membrane for floor heating system.

Prodeso® Heat Membrane System: This unique system features an uncoupling and crack isolating heat membrane that is laid out over the subfloor. The flexible membrane features channels for ComfortTile heat cable to be routed through. After the heat cable is secured within the membrane the flooring can be installed. The versatile membrane can be used on all types of indoor and outdoor applications, and is used for heating a variety of floor types.

FilmHeat: The FilmHeat floor heating system features the thinnest floor heating element of any system. The thin “film” panels are a popular solution for heating laminate floors, and can even be used to heat existing floors. If you can access the floor joists from below, the thin heating element can be stapled up between the joists and the insulation is applied to ensure that all the heat is directed upward to the floor. This is an affordable and effective way to heat your laminate floors.

FilmHeat™ and RetroHeat® Floor Heating Systems FilmHeat heating elements for a radiant heated floor system.

FilmHeat: The FilmHeat floor heating system features the thinnest floor heating element of any system. The paper thin “film” heating element is only 0.016-inch thick, and serves as the ideal solution for effectively heating laminate floors. The heating panels can be cut to their desired length on site and then secured to the subfloor. Electrical connections are made and the laminate floor is placed directly over the panels, without the need of thinset or mortar.

In addition to being the industry leader for heating laminate floors, a special version of the heating panels can also be used to heat existing floors. The thin heating element is stapled up between the floor joists, and batt insulation is applied to ensure that all the heat is directed upward to the floor. This is an affordable and effective way to heat existing floors.
